Hi Everyone! I believe most of us wondering, what is Minimalist? Is it only some kind of style? It sounds good, but what it is actually?
After searching a lot of these, I’d found out for myself. For me, it’s all about to find your own needs, maximizing it to fulfill your living. Of course, it has a lot of definition, but I’d found this kind of means to myself. I’d learnt, before I love other people, I need to love myself. What do I need? What do I like? What I effort to own? Is the things that I have, do really satisfy my needs? Is my mental health in good condition? Is my body in a good healthy condition? It’s all about wellness…inner and outer wellness…
What things that we need to check?
1. Is our financial, and expenses meet our financial goals? Or do we over expense to the things that we don’t really need?
2. Is our clothes, shoes, bags in our wardrobe; are we actually really use those? Or is there anything that we seldom/rarely use, that we can donate or give away to someone who really needed it the most?
3. Is your “Needs” and your “Wants” comes together? What actually you want? And what actually you need? Is there any what you want, but not what you need, been stored in your wardrobe/storage etc?
4. When comes to relationship with people, are you really happy with those peopleb around you? Is your working environment giving you positivities that makes you hunger to continue being a positive person?
5. Is your house/bedroom/bathroom/working station does really have what you need, or is it just clusters everywhere?
So, being a beginner in a minimalist lifestyle, I started to do my checking on the listed above. Starting with small things first, I started throwing things in my wardrobe that i seldom/rare using it. It took me over 2 years and still keep going declutering until now…๐
My wardrobe for now…and I’m still declutering it ๐
