New Chapter of My Life πŸ˜

Hello friends!

Wow, it’s been 10 months since I updated my blog due to workload and stress. Finally, I’m freedom from Corporate World! haha, temporarily πŸ˜ƒ

I was thinking, due to economy not stable etc, our daily expensive increase significantly lately. I know I need to do some side income, because daily life these days becoming soo expensive. I’m still survive, because of my minimalist living. But I want more than enough so that I can help those who need it, especially my families.

I’ve seen in front of my eyes how people who used to have millions in their account on surviving mode now. In my country, Malaysia, most people are working in Corporate Company, having EPF (Employees Provident Fund) saved monthly with free contributions from employer, monthly. But, I saw when they reached 55 years old and finished their saving money even before they reached 60. It’s stipulated in my mind that I still need to work even though I reached a mature age of 55 years old to take out my money.

Here is the thing on what usually happened, when someone reached 55 years old, most scammer can “smell” the new money. So, mostly people will fall for scammers. Well, I don’t wanna be such. I wanna build my own business right now, so by 55 years old, it can run itself with minimal supervision.

If you wanna get into business in Malaysia, you need to register SSM (Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia) and choose an appropriate type of business. Well, it was not a smooth process for me, but eventually I managed to get my SSM certificate. Yay!!

So, here we go, bismillah to start my business.

pssstt, well, I had eventually finished renovating my new home. Will share in the next blog on my new renovated home and share some tips on how to manage new house renovation from the beginning. πŸ₯°

till then, to be continued…

Love, Sofia ❀️

Tekala Waterfall & Terra Pong Restaurant @Ulu Langat β€οΈ

Hey, whatsapp guy! Hope you are in a good health.

Okay, I just wanna share the best healing spot in Ulu Langat that I went 2 weeks ago.

So, my brain is piled up with a lot of workload and it’s time to release it. Me and my colleague, we decided to go to waterfall and having lunch at nearby restaurant. The restaurant name is Terra Pong Restaurant which indirectly means, Floating Restaurant. The food is Thai Muslim food, very delicious and you are required to book the place at least 24hours before arrival. I’m kind like how the way they manage the order, you book through their website food you want to order then you gotta pay 50% from the total amount, and pay another 50% when u finish eating at the restaurant. It’s been before pandemic that I want to come, and let’s check it out.

So, the building is basically a traditional art, not really sure from Malaysia or Thailand itself. There are huge parking lot, accommodate prayer room for muslim (Surau) and washroom. Let’s check it out!!

We came too early that the waterfall gate is close and need to wait like 20 minutes before the guy came. It cost RM2 per person, and parking so far its free. We paid at the entrance and walk inside the forest.
When u walk in, there is some animal statue, these are the local animals that usually can be found in our forest.
The entrance point where the track begin. Okay, if you want to go healing with a lot of stuff, I don’t recommend this place as It has a lot of steps. If you wanna come, it’s better to have a backpack style.  easier for you to climb up the steps
After we hike about 10minutes, this is the 1st waterfall, and if there are more waterfall up there, but we just hike as long as we can see the waterfall. πŸ˜ƒ exhausted lol
I brought my own milk tea “Teh Tarik” and feel gorgeous 😍 We ate “Nasi Lemak” and some “Kuih” I bought near to my home. We just bring ready made food just buy from nearby stall coz only me and 1 of my colleague. Oh!! btw, there are fishes in the water and we feed with our “Kuih”. I didn’t manage to get photo coz my phone was in my beg and too lazy to take it out. lol

After about 4 hours of spending time chit chat, bathe and eating, then we go to the restaurant we book a day before. Warning!!! You really need to book a day before, if not they won’t entertain you, or your food will arrive very late.

So it took 24 minutes from the waterfall to the restaurant. Oh! btw, the route is not easy access as you will require transport like renting a car and driving a village route.

24 minutes drive the village route by car

The restaurant is very near to the junction, so be careful when u want to enter the parking area. I missed the restaurant and make a U-turn at the nearby shops πŸ˜ƒ

The entrance and restaurant name
When you enter, the washroom and prayer room (Surau) was on your right. This is the hallway to washroom and prayer room (Surau)
Okay, so here is the washroom and place to take ablution

The “Surau” entrance
Inside the “Surau”. When I enter, I feel like I’m in 80s Era πŸ˜ƒ remind me of my grandparents’ house
I think this is smoking area..because it’s away from the restaurant.
Shoe rack, but nobody put their shoe on it including me πŸ˜ƒ
This hallway is from the washroom n “Surau” to the restaurant eating area
Our reserved table πŸ₯° When u enter the restaurant, just go to the cashier and tell them your reservation name
To get the food, you just ask the receptionist at the payment counter to serve you. I ordered “Ikan masak 3 rasa” with Thai Tomyam and Kailan Vegie “Sayur Kailan ikan masin”. The food is marvelous.
I ordered mocha ice and my colleague ordered Ice lemon tea. I think it will be very nice if they serve dessert, but when I look into the menu, couldn’t find it.
this is kinda like stage, I think those who want to accommodate wedding ceremony, can do it here.
Beautiful right, so the restaurant is on the huge lake and it’s floating. Not exactly floating la, but looks like it’s floating. hahaha
Not sure what is this, maybe for baby to take a nap.
Oh yes!! You can feed the fishes there and they sell it about RM5 for 1 container like this. You can pay at the counter.
Before heading to home, I take a glance of the restaurant. Beautiful,  absolutely stunning 😍 ❀️

So…will come back to the restaurant??

Absolutely yes!! I will definitely come again and enjoy the food and view here. Insya Allah.

Till then…to be continued….

Sofia

Rewards….for ourselves πŸ₯°

Hey Everybody!! How are you? Have u rewarded youself this month? Alhamdulillah, we managed to have some little money, to reward ourselves over the work hard. Don’t forget to value yourself and your love ones ❀

Yesterday, I went to one of the coffee shop in Bangi. It’s hipster Coffee Shop, just what I wanted to have since 2013 πŸ˜ƒ

It was renovated cabin and have smoking and non-smoking area. After few months struggling with job, I can finally relax lil bit and rewarding myself, and rewarding my partner as well.

The Entrance
So, I ordered Grilled Lamb with black pepper sauce. The salad is nice, the butter rice is good, and the grilled lamb is marvelous 🀀😍❀
Hot Mocha…bitter sweet…I ❀ it β˜•
and for dessert, I have Nutella Cheese cake..it taste like Ferrero Rocher cake πŸ˜‡
Enjoy the view, I will definitely go again next time..

They don’t have much menu, but each of it is nice and tasty. Overall, it costs us, RM 110 for 2 pax, 1 cake and some taxes. Not that bad, RM55/pax.

Till then, to be continue

Hey Coffee Lover!!! πŸ˜˜

Hello friends!!! How are you today? Happy weekend!!! WoOooooHoooo!!! It’s finally weekend.

Okay guys, I used to have Dolce Gusto Piccolo XS on my workspace desk in office, however due to shifting workplace, I don’t have a place for my Piccolo anymore. 😒 Staying with your parents, meaning your space is very limited to your room only. Living with maximalist, means “Sorry, no space for you!”. Hahaha..so, I have to keep all my Piccolo and ‘his’ babies in my small pantry (small wardrobe).

So, what I did, I kept all my coffee capsules in container to preserve the aroma (I hope so). Next month, I need to do an appropriate setup for my Piccolo in my room πŸ™‚

All my babies…πŸ˜ƒ

Till then…see u in next post…

To be continue…

Love, Sofia
