Today, Im gonna share how I combined both my hobbies into something new makeover. Hahahaha!!! Yes!! I’M DECLUTTERING WHILE MAKING DO IT YOURSELF PROJECT DECORATION!! π
Okay, first thing first, I need to get rid/declutter my previous business items like ribbon, sponge, burlap etc right. So, I was thinking. My dustbin is so dull, and it always flew away whenever there are heavy thrash inside because the dustbin is too light in weight.
So, I decided to make some DIY Project, to decorate my dustbin. Yay!!! π₯°

All You Need to Have….
These are the items needed, plus Jute rope and emptybox. Missing in the photo πTadaaa!!! After the decoration π
Let’s Do It! π₯°β€π₯°
1. First of all, trace the bottom Dustbin onto the empty box like below picture π
2. Then, cut the lines. Glue the circle box with Burlap, and keep the Burlap 1 inch around the circle box to glue later.
3. Put the Jute rope onto the circle box and glued with glue gun. Then turn circle the jute rope and repeating the process until finished.
4. Glue the circle box onto the bottom of the Dustbin. Then, continue turn circle the jute until finished.
5. When the jute finished, I continue by taking out jute from bigger size. Hahaha..just using whatever I have π
6. Then, I glued the Burlap and Jute with Glue Gun. Kinda much I needed for the Glue Gun.
7. Then, I take out and open my new sponge for the ruffle. Haha π
8. For ribbon, I just simply cut n paste with Glue Gun. You can fold nicely, but I like easiest way and look neat ππ. Check this out π
9. After cut, paste, cut, paste and cut paste, the final product will be…..TaaaaDaaa π!! π₯°

Well, I just want to share with you what are my hobbies as a minimalist, to feel content and keep clutters away in a better way. β€
So, here we go…π
1. Making A DIY project.
As I being a minimalist, my characters are slowly change. I spend most of my time sitting home, and maintaining my things at home. One of my fav things to do is, to redesign, and reuse existing things I have. I have Burlap, Ribbons, Wrapping papers, Sponges etc at home, from my previous business plan. Why am I buying these stuff? Well, I thought when pandemic happened, I will loose my job. However, it turn out that I got more job offers. Alhamdulillah π₯°, so I have never starts my business. So, here all are the stuff,s that I need to get rid by making a D.I.Y stuff β€π₯°β€

2. Strolling the park.
Another what I like to do is strolling the park. I love nature so much, especially forest. It calms me when I have anxiety or problems. To go forest alone, is very risky. So, I choose to stroll the park whichever has little/mini forest nearby π₯°
I climbed up 3rd floor of the watch tower. Its so relaxing. Next time, Im gonna bring hot tea/black coffee with me π
3. Explore new recipe in kitchen.
I love exploring new recipes on internet. First trial, I will try the original recipes, then for 2nd and 3rd trial I will modify the recipes, and jot it down all the modification I made. π₯° i love creating my very own recipes according to my own taste bud. β€
I cut the dumpling’s skin into half, coz its too big. I cut into small bite sizes ππ₯°
4. Decluttering own room/space.
Well, this is like a ‘ritual routine’ for me π . Most of time, I will take a plastic bag and walk around the room, stand by if I can throw anything into it π. Clearing out my wardrobe, my workspace, my bathroom etc..and Im really enjoying it. I enjoy clearing my room, clean and tidy my space area π₯°.

5. Sell off unwanted items.
Yes!!! This is sooo cool. Previously, I just throw every of my unwanted items. But now, thanks to my Mr Love, he suggested to sell it off. Since I started, I think in end october or early november, I made around RM250 of my unwanted items and plus ++ I cleared my space. Weeee!!!!~~ Its fabulous π₯°π₯°π₯°
Someone gonna pick these from my room. I have 3 aquarium π another one to let it go..π₯°

It’s been a lot of things running through my mind lately. A lot of things need to sort and plan. I didn’t know where to start. So, I went for a long walk to chill and relax.
Last Saturday, I went to Taman Tasik Metropolitan, Kepong. Previously, the name waa Taman Layang-Layang. They do some renovation and change the name, perhaps to make it sounds more commercialised? π

It looks like photo frame right…nice πPreviously, they don’t have this..they just built it now..Okay, you can actually rent bicycle here. They have variety of bicycles to choose. πSome view from the back of the lake…it was really a huge lake to chill π₯°Some water fountain and sunshine…I love the ambience π₯°There is one steep hills to climb up…And on top of the hills, got 2 of watch towers…I’d found a quiet place to chill…next time I will bring tea or black coffee to chill..π₯°The other point of view…Thinking to draft plans, but end up just chilling..heheStairs that you need to climb up..
Okay, after went for a long morning walk, I went to the mall, named Melawati Mall. Having Thailand cuisine for my lunch. The restaurant is Boat Noodles β€
These are stack noodles. There is not much inside the bowl – Small portion. I ordered 6, I guess next time just to order 4, plus the dessert. They have nice steam bread with kaya sauce. Next time, Im gonna order those.My fav if I come here..Thailand Matcha Tea

Last time, I had bought undergarment organizer. But, it doesn’t work on it purposes. So, I thought to check out to see what’s the cause and why it doesn’t serve it purpose as organizer.
So, here you go. This undergarment organizer I bought it online, but as you can see, it’s all smashed and not stand still. π
I rethink over and over again and remembered…hey!! I got some extra Burlap, Ribbon and variety sizes of Jute Rope π
Multiple sizes of Jute Rope I have. I bought for it DIY purposes, keep it for recycle, redesign, reuse items. Its time to use it now π₯°
Things you will need to have, to refurbish your organizer:
Glue gun with the refills
Jute Rope
Burlap
Ribbon
Scissor
So, I do take a closer look on it. The reason is, the base is not attaching makes it not a strong enough to stand still. So, I’m modifying it according to my own taste. Ha ha ha π
Firstly, I started glue the base to strengthen it. Glue gun was my best buddy in everything diy stuff I made π₯°
A weak base, is not attaching πSo, the base needs to be glued with glue gun.Tada!!! This is my best buddy π₯°Arghhh…it looks hideous!! So I need to cover it up, to beautify it ππ₯°I cut the Burlap, according to the size. Then glue it on the net, to cover up the hideous looks πWhen completed the Burlap, I glue on top with Ribbon I have. In this pic, there is A gap between those Burlap. So, I just cover it up with cute Ribbon β€π₯°This will be the final product. Tadaaa!!~

Today, I’m gonna start a serious health food intake. Seems, there are few years to go, to enter 40s, I started feel conscious about what am I eating. Let’s check below list, on the initial habits that we need to look into.
5 habits to start healthy lifestyle in 2022
1. Drink a lot of plain water
It is very, very important to drink a lot of plain water. It helps our body to remove excess waste. This also keeps our body from dehydrated.
How to start: Buy a cute big bottle that you love, and bring it along to office, exercise, shopping or whenever you go. Make it a habit to bring water bottle everywhere you go. If you are too lazy or shy to bring a big bottle, you can bring flask to office. Im using hot flask to put any kind of drinks, my hot/cold water, tea etc. So, no one knows whats inside. But, you will need to keep on fill-in the water about 3-4 times, daily π

2. Starts walking instead of driving
Keep your body moving, any kind of movement either dancing, walking, jogging. This is some sort of exercise too.
How to start: When you go to office, try to walk instead of driving a car. If you have public transport to your office, use public transport. Like me, I have an option either to drive or to use public transport. I choose to use public transport. Try to download steps apps, and you will be surprise how much you had to walk daily to/from office. Its been once, I walked 1 round at the huge lake nearby to my house, it turn out the steps not exceeded the daily steps i took to the office π it seems i walk daily to office, more than 1 huge lake. π
3. Eat a clean food and right portion
Okay, this is very tough. Sometimes, you just don’t have much time to cook n prep meal, and sometimes you just not in the mood to cook. The rule is simple, you just need to eat quarter vegie, quarter fruits, quarter for meats and quarter carbs.

How to start: Eat varieties but in right portion. Like me, I don’t have much time to cook daily, so sometimes I just bring Quinoa to my office and buy chicken, vegie at the nearby food truck. Before eat, you will need to know what available food categories. They consists of Protein, Carbohydrate, Fibers, Fats dan Dairy. For dairy consumption, you will need to check yourself if you are a type that can eat dairy product or can’t. For me, I can eat it but I will gain more weight with dairy products π You need to understand your own body first before plan out your meal. It took try and error method for me, as I’m not a doctor π If you have option to check with dietitian, that will be the best.
Back to my stories, yes I bring Quinoa to office, and buy chicken/fish, vegie and fruits at the nearby food truck. Sometimes, i just bought Sandwiches that already have fish, bread and vegie. Easiest and fastest ππ

4. Slot some outdoor activities
This a bit tough to do, as Im still working 9-6 for the whole weekdays in office, and get easily tired during weekend.
How to start: I keep 1 day of weekend to rest and the other 1 day out. The resting day, normally I will do laundry, clean up room, bed etc as long as its indoor. For another day outdoor activities like, washing car, morning walk and soon I will slot time for hiking. Yay!! Its been awhile Im not hiking, probably in November Im gonna start back my hiking hobby with my bestie π₯°
5. Stock more fruits and vegetable
Yes, just in case if you keep on feeling hungry, stock with lots of vegetables and fruits, and don’t forget nuts too. Nuts are some sort of good fat such as almond, walnut, sunflower seed etc.
How to start: Buy a pack of mixed nuts and dried fruits, and pack into small container and bring it to office. I will update my snack stack container soon..β€

Okay, today topic…is…let’s virtually design the minimalist house, virtually!! Hahaha..yes. Virtually, coz it’s seems loOooong way to goOoooOooo for my 2nd home to be completed, target to be complete by 2nd half of 2025 π₯Ί

The entrance
Entrance should be, as simple as possible and have multiple functions on each items.
The key holder. I want a simple holder like this, where I can hang keys and have some little space to put things. The shoe bench, where I can store my shoes, and socks under the seat. It has a seat on top, where I can sit and wear my socks and shoes.The console table and room divider on the same furniture. Okay, my console table will be as simple as this, where I can put 1 bowl, or tray to keep my wallet from going outside. At same time, can be a divider between the entrance and living room. Giving lil privacy to the living room π₯°
The Living Room
I will keep it as simple as possible, as my house will be small…
A long sofa, either 3 or 4 seaters, and leather materials as its easy to wash n maintain, plus not easily to get smell πA lazy chair, where I can relax, which kinda match with my main sofa…The TV, speaker and cabinet. I will have a simple cabinet, but yet elegant which match with the dining storage later. Mounted TV and some simple speaker will be great.A very simple carpet, I dont like too many design n colors which will make me vomit.A simple wall decoration…hanging in middle of the living room..Irregular coffee table…πAnd some simple side table, where there is a storage that I can keep my throws and blankets π₯°
The Dining Room

Okay, I dont need a very big dining room. A simple dining table of four like this, which gimme flexibility to seat on, either normal chair, or bench like this..Okay, on the table, I would love to keep salt and pepper like this kind of shapes. Simple and elegant shapes. Under the dining table set, I will have this bamboo carpet. I can’t step on cool floor, so I will love it to have some kind of carpet to feel cozy πOkay, I will have my coffee machine on top of this kind of storage table. I like it to be thin, and yet have some storage where I can keep my toaster, my blender or fruit juice machine. This storage will be located against the wall near to my dining table.On top of the dining storage cabinet, I will have a big mirror like this, to give “some space” for the small apartment πA lovely coffee machine π I definitely will need this. I dont really like the normal powder coffee, I love the fresh grinded coffee. Coffee lover in the house β€
The Kitchen
For kitchen, a simple kitchen cabinet, without handles. Handles can trap dust, so the handle-less cabinet will be a furrrpecct match for me.
Steel cutting board. I used to love wooden cutting board, but after I saw how mould it can be from my mom’s house, I don’t want it now ππ This can function for flour kneading too..A sink, where I can have multiple function. Can use to wash vegetables and fruits like this.Induction stove, as I think Im a person who can easily set a fire at home. Haha. Plus, most of my pot will be a cute pot, which will get burn easily the bottom if i use normal stove with fire. LolOf course, a carpet every space in the house. I can’t have a sticky floor πOkay, the bin. I will have covered bin something like this. Not too big, and not too small where I can throw it on a daily basis.
The bedroom
For bedroom, I will love to have some space on the wall where can act as my side table. I need to minimize the furniture and design it smartly, as my bedroom will be very small π
A smart wall which act as my side table, and as my bed’s header too. I will keep my clock alarm here πMy bed’s frame will be really simple like this, but not my mattress, pillow and duvet. Hahaha..those fabric need to be chosen very carefully, need to be very comfortable and nice to see π I will have separate post for those fabrics. LolOkay, I don’t really like bed’s header, coz it doesn’t serve any kind of purpose. I just need, some space of the wall, to put my alarm and this kind of pillow as my bed’s header. πππLast, but not least…my wardrobe which has function as a big mirror as well. So, i don’t need any other space for my full body mirror.Against the masterbedroom’s big window, I will have this bench where I can sit on top, and have some storage underneath π₯°Okay, another an unusual things i would love to have in my room is, the fireplace simulation. It can be my sleeping light and perhaps I could find some item which has function as my humidifer as well. Its a good idea, but let’s see if this is also a humidifer or not. If yes, then its a great buy which serve 2 functions at once. π
The bathroom
I really love big mirrors. So, in the bathroom I will find this kind of furniture. It can be mirror, storage and can hang face towel as well. π₯°Shower…shower…shower….i really love shower, compared to bath tub. Bath tub is good, but not all the time. Shower is on the go, and kinda like a rain for me. A big showet head is awesome, and of course with water heater. I like it to be black and matte, as the normal silver can easily rusted.The shower floor, I will love to have wooden floor like this, so it won’t be that slippery.

I always wanted a loft studio kind of house, which has minimal element. I don’t need too much space, which easier to create clutters and hardly to maintain. Its simple, no much drama for clean up. ππ

Hello everyone!!! It’s been awhile I’m away from blog! Haha..so, here we go. Let’s start with financial planning for year 2023..hahaahaha..yes…for 2023!! Let’s plan for future! LOL
Okay, I’d checked on whatever resource I have, google, youtube…etc. So, I found the rules 50:30:20. It’s kinda interesting to check on. So, I made some calculation and hey yaa!!! I managed to get more savings! Yay!!! Way to go…minimalist lifestyle π₯³π₯³
Monthly Budget follow rules 50:30:20 …
For rules 50:30:20, this is the percentage that you need to allocate your monthly income. There are 3 categories, the 50% should be the Fixed Expenses that you will need to pay such as bills, rental, car, internet, tuition fee etc (compulsory to pay). For the 30% of your salary should go to Variable Expenses that you have options not to spend such as eating outside, movie, theme park, present, etc. The remaining 20% should go to your Future Plans such as emergency savings or any possible investment. Well, after the calculation, I had found out that my Fixed Expenses is 54%(slightly higher because I included insurance with investment under this category π), my Variable Expenses is 18%(I dont have much things to buy, just lil bit entertainment like movie/eating outside) and for Future plans I have 28% π. I think this is good enough. As a minimalist, I always conscious on what to buy so that I don’t waste my money for clutters π
Okay, how do I calculate all of these? Haha..im using a simple ratio calculation π
Let’s take example, income salary RM2000 and to follow rules 50:30:20 (%).
In this example, when you calculate all your bills (plus other compulsory to pay) and it total up for example RM 900. So, a simple ratio (900/2000) x 100 = 45%. So for those who has salary RM2000, how to calculate is to manage the Fixed Expenses below RM 1000, RM 600 for Variable Expenses and RM 400 for Future plans. π
Where to store your monthly receipts for Tax Relief ?
Okay, I usually save in cloud, so easier to trace it. So, Im using Google Drive most of the times. Perhaps, you can have some other storage as well like One Drive. It is not really advisable to store in phone, as Phone can easily spoil then you will need to factory reset and all will be gone.

Hey guys!!!! How are you doing?? Hope you are all good and sounds. So, today I’m gonna share how I make my easy dumplings. Its been few days back Im craving for dumplings. You know, nowadays when you buy food from restaurant, you will get a tasteless, expensive and vegie dumpling (eventhough you are actually bought beef/lamb dumpling), its all vegie you gonna taste (less meat, lots of vegie) π
So, here we go..a simple dumpling from Sofia π
1. Firstly, you gotta buy meat. It depends on you what kind of meat you wanna use. I’m using beef meat here π2. Then, you need to chop garlic, onion, chives, salt, grind black pepper, and some marinated sauce.

Okay, you got a loooooot of options for marinated sauce. Some love to add salt and black pepper only, some love to add soy sauce, some love to add chilli sauce. Choose whatever you love, in the end it’s yourself who gonna eat it. So, Im using teriyaki sauce, lil japanese sweet sauce and lil bit of sesame oil. I’m creating my own designated dumplings okeyh!! Hahahaha πβ€ There is no right or wrong about it π
My Japanese sweet soy sauceMy teriyaki sauceMy sesame oil..3. When you chopped everything and pour in lil of your fav marinated sauce, keep it in chiller for overnight. I don’t put in freezer, coz the taste might lil bit different. Keep in a cool chiller, in between the normal chiller and freezer. Next day, you can stir fry the meat, or can put straight to the dumpling skin. Im just being lazy, I just put it on the dumpling skin and steam it π4. For dumpling skin, you can make from scratch, but Im too lazy to do that. So I bought the ready made dumpling skin. You can find it in pastry section in market. So, you pick one piece, then place the meat at the centre like this.5. The art of dumplings is how to fold it π₯² This part is not easy, Im just doing the most simplest ways. You can find a lot of youtube videos on how to fold dumplings and find your fav one βΊ6. Okay to steam the dumpling, if you have white thin cloth, you can put it to the bottom of dumplings. This is to avoid torn dumplings. I don’t have that, so I just put in the steamer. If you got better idea, do let me know π7. My cute steamer…I can steam, can boil, can cook rice..Its small and cute π₯°8. Tadaaa!!!!! Here my dumplings!!!! Yummy π. You can put it in container storage and keep it in chiller.

So, it’s been a month that I’m preparing myself to lift weight again. I started with slow cardio such as belly dance and other slow dance, frequency 3-4 x per day. Then after 2 weeks, Im adding some slow body combat exercise. You will need to know how comfortable your body to add-on the exercises. If you think it’s too intense, try to use slow video and lesser the frequency. So, for me it took me 2 weeks to start my bodycombat exercise (not to intense).
Before that, I have my own equipment for my exercises as below. I have:
A pair 5.0kg plates
A pair 2.5kg plates
A pair 2.0kg plates
A pair 1.75kg plates
A pair 4lb dumbell
Barbell
Step
Small ball – unsure how many grams..i quess about 300gram.
Below are my plan to kick start lifting weight again.
My schedule for month 1:
1st & 2nd weeks – slow cardio (ie: belly dance, slow zumba dance etc) with frequency 3-4x per week, for 30min session.
3rd weeks – replacing cardio with slow bodycombat with frequency 3-4x per week, for 30min session.
4th weeks – adding bodypump with frequency 1-2x per week, for 45min session. [Bodycombat cardio 3-4x + Bodypump 1-2x].
My schedule for month 2:
5th weeks – to reduce Bodycombat cardio 2-3x, Bodypump 1-2x and adding Yoga 1-2x, but to increase the duration from 45min to 1hour.
6th – 8th weeks – to maintain, and keep up 6x healthy meals and snacks. By this 6th weeks, I usually will try to keep an eye on my calorie intake – check on my next post on food preparing π
My schedule for month 3:
9th – 10th weeks – to fix 7-8 hours daily sleep, prep meals and to continue exercise.
11th – 12th weeks – repeat and adding some more weight for strength.
