Alhamdulillah, we had passed throughout all the rough years.
In 2023, none of my goals had achieved, my wish for 2024 is to achieve at least 5 of my previous goals ππ
I still remember the day when I went through this, and Alhamdulillah, all my prayers were answered. π€²
My New Resolutions:
Since my previous year had “successfully” failed to fulfill the goals, this year I listed fewer goals and hope can achieve it. insya Allah.
I started my 2024 goals by aiming max 5 points for this year π:
1. Having A Healthy Lifestyle
It’s been very busy years back in 2022 and 2023. This year, I wanna be healthier in terms of physical and mental health. I’m trying to prioritize my own health, the most crucial and important thing is to do. I’d signed up for a gym membership and about to start on 15 January.
My wish is to be committed to going to the gym and control on food intake. Let’s hope this to be happened and keep it consistent throughout this year.
This cert has been pending quite a long period. I wanna pursue this for this year and take the exam. I always feel nervous about taking an exam. I hope I will find strength to take the exam and pass with flying colors. insya Allah β€οΈ
4. Cut Off more Debt
This year, I wanna cut off credit card debt. It’s been years paying for credit cards, and I hope I can zerorise the credit card.
5. Declutters Wardrobe
I already started this yesterday and am feeling kinda happy with the outcomes. I think I might need another 1 round of cleanup, and then I will be good about it. I love empty spaces, and it makes me feel relaxed π
Hey hey heyy, hey everyone!! How are ya? Hope you are all good.
Just wanna share some idea on what I’d done to my 1st home. Just a lil bit touch up before its ready to view for the next tenant.
So basically, what only left is:
1. To receive another curtain as current curtain is actually shorts after the folding. LOL. So I bought another 2 blackout curtain for my living room.
2. To receive my TV, I bought a smart TV for the house.
3. To hang the kitchen curtain. I already have it, just that I forgot to bring plier and scissor for cutting and adjusting the wire.
4. To hang bathroom mirror and bathroom rack. I need to bring along the strong double sided tape, I guess I just use double sided tape for the rack. π
5. To dismantle and install the water heater. I already bought 2units, just need plumber to install. I already book plumber to do such things π
So, check these out the differences before I took over and after I took over the house ππ₯°π
This was before, when im viewing the house before my tenant move out. This was after I clean the house and make lil changes. This will be the final, only the Smart TV left to put on the TV cabinet.
Check out the kitchen…
This was before when I viewing the house when my tenant still living in.After my tenant move out and I clean up the kitchen. This was after I do a total cleanup and buy some carpet for kitchen.
Now, let’s see the dining area…π₯°
This was before the tenant move out, when the tenant still living in the house. This was after the clean up,, I rearranged n buy some stuff for the dining area.
Let’s check out rooms, the house has 3rooms and 2bathrooms.
The masterbedroom during the tenancy. The master bedroom after clean up, painted furniture and bought mattress cover & curtains .This was the middle room, where the tenant make it as store. A lot of clean up done for this room. This was the current view. Perhaps it need some rearrange, but not sure yet. I just bought the mattress cover and curtain for this room. This was the smallest room. Originally I made it as my wardrobe and clothes organization room. So, my tenant just continue it, kinda a lot of stuff. So I do a clean up and bought curtain. nothing much I did for this room. Just a cleaning.
So, most of the thing I did was, a massive clean up, throwing unnecessary stuff and do a lot of painting. I did paint the furniture such as TV cabinet, coffee table, make up table, mirror frame, TV rack, the dryer outside as well π
Some other things I snap photo before I went back home last Saturday ππ₯°π
I still need 2 more curtains..lolThe shoe rack, I don’t buy expensive shoe rack. I just re-paint the original brown wooden color with black and light grey color. I just buy the spray paint, make my life easier..LOLTadaa β€β€β€
Okay, I will snap the rest pending things and post in later…
Hey hey heyy, hey everyone!! How are ya? Hope you are all doing good.

Hola!!! cΓ³mo estΓ‘s? How are you? Hope you are all in good health, insya Allah π₯°
Today, I wanna share with you, the changes on myself after being a minimalist since 2018, so here we go…
1. Starts love being at home more than outside – busy cooking, clothes laundering, room cleaning, organizing clothes etc
It started from the pandemic, when everyone been lockdown and be at home 24/7. I spend most of my time, cooking a nutritious food, spending time doing my laundry and folding my clothes right after dried, then straight keep it in my wardrobe. I also, found myself at home, busy wiping dust in my room, sweeping the floor and also maintaining my bedsheets, pillow etc. I’d found myself, always decluttering my wardrobe, until I have few empty hanger. Im really excited achieving this and I feel happy and self-content on this changes on me, for over 4 years being a Minimalist β€π₯°β€
Making a simple and nutritious big breakfast. I eat the fruit first, before others. So, stomach will full of fiber first as it’s good for digestion system.I became addicted to Cleaning and Organizing stuffs π
2. Earning some extra cash money – selling unused items to buy gold
Okay, another thing I sort of knowing Im align with Minimalist is that, I earn some cash money from decluttering my unused items!! π
Yes! You hear it right! Those unused items, I took pictures and sell in online. Hahaha!! Sound funny, but hey!! I got 1 gold ring with the accumulated money I sold!! So, those unused items, you may donate if you want, or just resell it!! Sell it with cheap price, coz in the end, you won’t use it too, and its kinda some sort of charity coz you sell it cheap. But, in return, I got 1 ring gold!!! Hahaha! I’m proud of it, Alhamdulillah π₯°
Some Betta Fish set that I no longer use. Total cost spend about RM 100++, but I sell it for RM 35, the guy asked for RM 30, I just accepted it. So, it’s somehow doing charity + get some money too πππ
3. Having more extra time, as reducing time in maintaining daily routine – laundry, wiping/cleaning room
Okay next thing is, I’m having more extra time for myself as my things had reduced for clean up. My weekly dirty clothes reducing too, as before being a Minimalist my weekly dirty clothes usually pile up full or more than 1 big basket. But now, I have not reach 1 normal basket for 1 week clothes. Then, washing and drying clothes time reduced as well because I don’t have much clothes to wash. Extra those time I have, I will spend by folding the dried clothes and put it into my wardrobe nicely. It looks nice in the wardrobe too, as less clothes need to be displayed and can put it into a proper hanger.
Im happy to see more hangers than clothes in my wardrobe π₯°
It was easy to maintain my room now, as more of stuffs are gone and only left empty floors. I love it so much, as it was easy for me to sweep and wipe my floor. Haha!! I did wipe my floors by hand, and Im not using mop π
I have more time to spend vacuuming my bed. Yes! I vacuum my mattress, quilt and pillow. Haha!! Surprisingly, there are some dust too, eventhough its under the bedsheet, and pillowsheet. So, it is recommended to either vacuum, or hang those under the sunlight π₯°
Vacuuming the mattress, quilt and pillow biweekly basis π
4. Having more space and my room looks cleaner most of time – in wardrobe and room
Yes, absolutely. When I let go most of my things, absolutely I will have more spaces. I love and admiring empty spaces more than spaces with lot of unwanted stuffs. I had once, stayed alone in my previous home, and when my parents came over, my mom always complaining that why my home is “Too Empty”? Hahaha. I enjoy less stuff most of the time coz it is easy for maintaining and cleaning job ππ₯°
A clean floor, if I have my own new house I will have a robot to keep it clean most of times. Little helper required π
5. I’m now addicted to Organizer – Organizer is More than my Stuff
I’m now addicted to Organizing Videos, Organizing trick and tips and busy organizing everything including my medicine, car, clothes and stocks.
Yes, this is absolutely time reducing to find things in my room. I don’t frequently changing my organization location, and I love to maintain my organization time by time. Meaning to say, I love maintaining my organizing stuff, especially my stocks such as Shampoo, Body Gel, Toothbrush, Toothpaste etc.
My beauty and cleaning stocks, I organized it into 2 boxes, and kept it in my wardrobe, on top shelf πInside the wardrobe and on top of the shelf π₯°Another example, is my First Aid. I keep all medicine in this kit, so I no longer need to find plaster under drawer, oitment in wardrobe etc. Everything will be in this First Aid box. π₯°
Good afternoon everyone!! Its Thursday, guys!! 1 day to goo…before we meet weekend again!! Weehooo!!! π₯°
Well, I just want to share with you what are my hobbies as a minimalist, to feel content and keep clutters away in a better way. β€
So, here we go…π
1. Making A DIY project.
As I being a minimalist, my characters are slowly change. I spend most of my time sitting home, and maintaining my things at home. One of my fav things to do is, to redesign, and reuse existing things I have. I have Burlap, Ribbons, Wrapping papers, Sponges etc at home, from my previous business plan. Why am I buying these stuff? Well, I thought when pandemic happened, I will loose my job. However, it turn out that I got more job offers. Alhamdulillah π₯°, so I have never starts my business. So, here all are the stuff,s that I need to get rid by making a D.I.Y stuff β€π₯°β€
Before decorating my dustbin πAfter decorating my dustbin π₯°
2. Strolling the park.
Another what I like to do is strolling the park. I love nature so much, especially forest. It calms me when I have anxiety or problems. To go forest alone, is very risky. So, I choose to stroll the park whichever has little/mini forest nearby π₯°
I climbed up 3rd floor of the watch tower. Its so relaxing. Next time, Im gonna bring hot tea/black coffee with me π
3. Explore new recipe in kitchen.
I love exploring new recipes on internet. First trial, I will try the original recipes, then for 2nd and 3rd trial I will modify the recipes, and jot it down all the modification I made. π₯° i love creating my very own recipes according to my own taste bud. β€
I cut the dumpling’s skin into half, coz its too big. I cut into small bite sizes ππ₯°
4. Decluttering own room/space.
Well, this is like a ‘ritual routine’ for me π . Most of time, I will take a plastic bag and walk around the room, stand by if I can throw anything into it π. Clearing out my wardrobe, my workspace, my bathroom etc..and Im really enjoying it. I enjoy clearing my room, clean and tidy my space area π₯°.
Make up my bed every morning is my mandatory ‘ritual routine’ π
5. Sell off unwanted items.
Yes!!! This is sooo cool. Previously, I just throw every of my unwanted items. But now, thanks to my Mr Love, he suggested to sell it off. Since I started, I think in end october or early november, I made around RM250 of my unwanted items and plus ++ I cleared my space. Weeee!!!!~~ Its fabulous π₯°π₯°π₯°
Someone gonna pick these from my room. I have 3 aquarium π another one to let it go..π₯°
Okay guys, I think thats all for now. Im sharing with you what I usually do to declutter my things, and keep myself content β€π₯°
HeLLooOoo everyone!! What’s up? It’s finally here!! So called – My organizing “gadget”…haha..π₯°
So, I bought 3 different sizes of Rattan Box storage, to keep my blankets and other stuffs like my hairband, hair clip, sleeping mask, detox patches etc.
Tadaa!!! Cute rattan storage in different sizes – S, M and L π₯°
The reason I don’t buy big basket for my blankets, is that because Im living in a small room – to keep virtual clutters away π
Oh, and another things, the grey storage is for my undergarments. I like it to be well organize, soothing in my eyes π
The other Organizing “Gadget” I have in my room π
1. The Square Storage Box (with zip on top and side) – for Towels and Bedsheets2. Medicine Kit – all first aid medicine including Covid-19 swab test π3. Make Up storage – unfortunately, I don’t have much make up. Mostly for my skin care serum, hair serum, backup Parfum, Massage Oil, body lotion, hand lotion, nail clipper, haircomb, contact lens casing etc π₯°4. Clothes Dust Cover – other than Virtual Clutters free, this cover helps to keep away the dust in wardrobe. Coz, I noticed there are dust at the bottom of the wardrobe and I need to clean it, weekly π€ͺ5. Parfum and pins storage – Okay, I have lot of parfums, but these 2 are the most often I used. Easily to pickup and put back, to minimizing the virtual clutters and as a deco too. π6. The humidifier essential oil – Okay, okay, parfum freak in the house..whoott whoot!! π So, I have my fav flavours which I often used – Hotel version: Banyan Tree, Grand Hyatt, Westin, and Hilton and typical essential: Orchid and Lavendar flavour. I do have more such as peppermint, Oranges etc, but I keep it away in wardrobe to avoid virtual clutters. βΊ7. From the back, Hotel version : Hilton hotel, Westin hotel, Grand Hyatt hotel, Banyan Tree hotel. Orchid. From the front: Lavendar.
Crystal Collections: To Re-Use?
Okay, Im pretty okay for the rest, there is only something I don’t find the purpose to be displayed on my table – My Crystal Collections.
Well, I used to put some essential oil onto it, coz I thought to make it as a crystal diffuser. But it turn out, not so good compared to wood, plus my crystal out of shapes and colors π₯²
I’m thinking to re-use it for something better and useful, if you have any good idea, you can comment below, thanks π
It looks horrible in a cup..I think, some has changed color and shapes. I used to have emerald green color, but now its gone π
Hey Everyone! Happy Sunday! I wish I’m too late to wish for that. Haha!!
It’s been for over a week, I didn’t post anything here. Because I’m trying to split my page from Minimalist stuff and other stuff. Seems, it’s kind of stuffy here and mix up. I want to declutter my site π. So, yeah, feel free to visit my new site – sofiamustaffa.com π₯°
I’m still struggling for my wardrobe, up until today. I should say, it is not fully 100% organize, and I’m still having issue on how to store my towel, blanket, linen sets and also my prayer clothes in a proper and neat way. So, I was googling and found this method, which I found works for the rest of clothes. 1 easy way/method, which works for the rest of clothess..Weeee Yeppie!!~
Check this out, guys!!
How to Fold Towel, Blanket etc….Easily & Neatly π₯°
1. Firstly, spread your towel like this.2. Then, you fold into two like this.3. Then, bring the bottom up, and meet at the center..4. Bring the upper part down, and meet the bottom at center like this. From here, you divide into 3 part. 5. Fold one to another inside this pocket. 6. One end, fold into the other end. A neat fold. 7. Tada!!~ π You will get something like this. Its neat as one side folding inside the other.
Experimenting the fold method for my prayer clothes π
1. Folding the other cloth as usual, and I put on top of the other clothes like this. 2. Tried the method, from one end, folding into the other ends. It works perfectly!! Easy and Neat as well. Tadaaa!!~~
Okay, guys. My blanket and other clothes done for now. Next post, I’m going to explore on hanging clothes item.
Hello Everyone..How are you? Hope you doing well. So, what’s ur plan for Valentine’s day?
I don’t have much plan for my Valentine’s..just spending sometime with my Bettas and my dead aquascape. Sigh!
I’ve been looking at my mini-aquarium, and found all my female bettas in this position. Idk what is wrong with them. I guess they were feel bored, so I try to change their home again, back to the original place.
My bettas lining up..π€·ββοΈLook at that!! They act so weird..but they seem so close to each other. I guess, Female Felo Betta goes well with other Bettas. Candy Betta (Centre) kinda wild compared to Felo Betta. Well, I shall say my Felo Betta is kinda tame, but very sensitive towards water condition. I put them back into their original home. The Redish and Blusih guys were in separate container. My Aquascape gone…after I’m adding more aqua plants. I guess, the light is too little for them. So, I re-do my aquascape, by putting 3 different seeds. πBought some snacks for Netflix day….half day gone for netflix and snacks πA simple dinner…instand noodle, eggs, sausage and chilli flakes. Happy Valentine’s day for myselfπ
Hi Everybody!! I hope you have a good vibes today! Its Saturday…Relaxing day..
What my relaxing day will be…is…Decluttering day!! Yeppie π₯³
Today, we going to sort this portion in my wardrobe
Tips On How To Divide Unuse Items π
I have lots of scarf. I don’t use any technique out there, there are tons of decluttering technique, which I find its kind stressful to learn π
So, what I did, I just slowly divide it, which I frequently use, and which I seldom use. Those I frequently used, I already hang it on my wardrobe. Just these left to give away, because of it looks like new, so I still keeping if until now.
Here are things that I don’t use anymore, but I still keeping it coz some have sentimental value
I think it’s time to re-visit the scarf back and divide it to which I can donate/sell off, which I still wanna keep. I don’t go drastically wipe away all my things, coz most of my things have sentimental value. Im still fighting to get rid of things that have sentimental value to it. I do it, slowly….but surely. π
Let’s divide these firstAll of these..Im going to sell/donate. Okay, I love sequence, so I do my things follow the sequence. I will try to sell it first, if don’t have any buyer, then I will donate it to those needed it the most πOkay, all these are tough to let go..the green and pink I bought when Im traveling to South Korea, the White-Grey and blue I bought when Im traveling to Bali. The light grey is the most comfortable scarf i wore when Im traveling to South Korea. So, I will still keep these scarf and let see if I can get rid of these in future π
So, Everyone…that is how I divide things to declutter my stuff..we only use what we want, we get rid those we don’t. But, I have a problem with sentimental value stuff, and I have tons of sentimental value stuff, that I don’t use and need to get rid of it one day…this is just a portion of my wardrobe..a lot more to go….π₯²
