5 Minimalist Habits that changed My Lifestyle πŸ₯°

Good afternoon everyone!! Its Thursday, guys!! 1 day to goo…before we meet weekend again!! Weehooo!!! πŸ₯°

Well, I just want to share with you what are my hobbies as a minimalist, to feel content and keep clutters away in a better way. ❀

So, here we go…πŸ˜‰

1. Making A DIY project.

As I being a minimalist, my characters are slowly change. I spend most of my time sitting home, and maintaining my things at home. One of my fav things to do is, to redesign, and reuse existing things I have. I have Burlap, Ribbons, Wrapping papers, Sponges etc at home, from my previous business plan. Why am I buying these stuff? Well, I thought when pandemic happened, I will loose my job. However, it turn out that I got more job offers. Alhamdulillah πŸ₯°, so I have never starts my business. So, here all are the stuff,s that I need to get rid by making a D.I.Y stuff ❀πŸ₯°β€

2. Strolling the park.

Another what I like to do is strolling the park. I love nature so much, especially forest. It calms me when I have anxiety or problems. To go forest alone, is very risky. So, I choose to stroll the park whichever has little/mini forest nearby πŸ₯°

I climbed up 3rd floor of the watch tower. Its so relaxing. Next time, Im gonna bring hot tea/black coffee with me πŸ˜ƒ

3. Explore new recipe in kitchen.

I love exploring new recipes on internet. First trial, I will try the original recipes, then for 2nd and 3rd trial I will modify the recipes, and jot it down all the modification I made. πŸ₯° i love creating my very own recipes according to my own taste bud. ❀

I cut the dumpling’s skin into half, coz its too big. I cut into small bite sizes πŸ˜ƒπŸ₯°

4. Decluttering own room/space.

Well, this is like a ‘ritual routine’ for me πŸ˜…. Most of time, I will take a plastic bag and walk around the room, stand by if I can throw anything into it πŸ˜‚. Clearing out my wardrobe, my workspace, my bathroom etc..and Im really enjoying it. I enjoy clearing my room, clean and tidy my space area πŸ₯°.

Make up my bed every morning is my mandatory ‘ritual routine’ πŸ˜‚

5. Sell off unwanted items.

Yes!!! This is sooo cool. Previously, I just throw every of my unwanted items. But now, thanks to my Mr Love, he suggested to sell it off. Since I started, I think in end october or early november, I made around RM250 of my unwanted items and plus ++ I cleared my space. Weeee!!!!~~ Its fabulous πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

Someone gonna pick these from my room. I have 3 aquarium πŸ˜‚ another one to let it go..πŸ₯°

Okay guys, I think thats all for now. Im sharing with you what I usually do to declutter my things, and keep myself content ❀πŸ₯°

Till then, see you again…to be continue….

Gyoza (Japanese Dumpling)..bite size πŸ˜ƒ

Hey guys!! I made some modification on previous dumpling. Well, nothing much changes, just on the the folding method, and cooking method πŸ˜ƒ

So, previous dumpling was, I’m using the whole piece of skin. I’d found out its too big to chew. So, now I modified it by folding it into 2, then cut it into two. Sorry, forgot to take the picture. So, it happened to look like this…πŸ˜€

Folding Gyoza πŸ˜ƒ

Okay, let me cut a paper to show you how to fold it…sorry guys! I forgot to snap the pictures πŸ˜…

1. Imagine this is the skin..Im using paper for a demo πŸ˜„
2. Fold it into half.
3. Then, you cut it into two.

4. Okay, here is the part. Firstly, secure with water to glue the side of the cone. Then, you fill the meat. Lastly, secure the curve side with water to glue it.
5. When you glue the 1st side, it will looks something like this. Fill the filling inside, then glue the curve part. πŸ˜ƒ
6. You will get something like this.
7. Lastly, tap tap all the sides. You don’t need water for this, or it will be too sticky. Just ensure no air bubble in the filling, or else it will pop out when you boil it later πŸ™‚

Cooking method ☺

Okay, you can steam, you can boil, you can deep fry. But I choose to boil first, then stir fry my gyoza with olive oil πŸ˜‚

Normally, gyoza you will fry the bottom, then add on some water for steaming. But hey, I wanna make my ownself. My own way. My Gyoza, My Rules. Hahahaha πŸ˜†

1. Boil Gyoza: okay, I pour water into my pot and let it boil first. Then I put my Gyoza inside, not too long. Just as long as my Gyoza floating, it consider done. Then, I filter the water using net.
2. Stir fry: okay you clean all messy water, let it dry first and put on lil bit of olive oil. Well, like what I said, its my gyoza and its my rule. I wanna use olive oil πŸ˜ƒ. Hahaha. So, I put lil bit of olive oil, then let it fry lil bit. Then, switch to other side..then..wallaaa!! πŸ₯°
Final product: tadaaa!!! I ate with soy sauce mixed with sesame oil. Itadakimasu!!! πŸ₯°

Okay, that’s all the modification done. I think this gonna be my fav dumpling ❀

To be continue…

Love, Sofia
