HeLLoOooooo Everyone!!! How are you all??? This week is a holiday week!! Yeppie! π₯°
So, we went to Colmar Tropicale, Bukit Tinggi, Pahang. I book via online booking, 2 sites – Booking.com and Agoda. It’s a last minute booking, since both my parents wanna join too. π
Okay, you will need transportation to come here. It’s kinda far from the city, surrounded by forest. Well, the food kinda expensive here if you compared to the normal price. 1 cup of coffee may cost you around RM 10. I’m talking bout the normal coffee, not starbuck kind of coffee π So, those who wants to be on budget, I suggest you to have picnic for the 1st day, then you can go for outside eating for the next day.
Registration at Hotel Lobby
Once you reach here, if you are using private vehicle, you may park at basement parking. Don’t bring along your luggage, I suggest you to register first to see which building is your room. You will need to fill-up some registration forms upon check-in.
So, I booked 2 rooms – Deluxe King and 1 bedroom apartment King. I’d asked for both rooms to be close together, you may asked the PIC at the hotel counter (subject to availability). So, I got Deluxe King at Level -1 (underground) and the 1 bedroom King at Level 3. Here are those rooms..its lovely and clean rooms.
The 1 bedroom apartment (King bed)
This room at the highest level, 3rd floor. Some space for luggageSimple and cute π₯°Narrow and long bathroom. I think they used the space wisely. Its small, but yet functioning well. β€Dry kitchenette. They didn’t really allow you to cook, you can cook instant noodles only πHurm…spacious dining room..idk why its so spacious here..i think can built the 2nd bedroom here π
Okay, that’s all for the 1 bedroom apartment. Now, let’s checkout the 2nd room..which is Deluxe King.
Deluxe King
The living room..Dining room and dry kitchenette. They have minifridge inside the cabinet, but I think only suit for drinks.Bedroom…BathroomToiletriesTowel and hairdryerPencil and note
The hotel building…..π₯°
It’s a beautiful france building for the whole hotel. I like it’s unique design..β€
View from the front..It has the pad lock love too….idk what is the purpose….πSome of the view from side of the building..Duckie….Best port…sunrise..
Okay, I bought rooms with complimentary breakfast. Well, the croisants are much nicer compared to the rice. π
Last, but not least. My travel essential ππ
I can’t live without parfum…so i bring along the hotel flavour parfum..by Mayci. My fav were Grant Hyatt and Banyan Tree.
Heyy!! Everybody! If you come to Malaysia and you love steamboat, do visit Johnny’s restaurant! And order for their Tomyam soup…slurrppp π€€ It was my fav steamboat restaurant, so far..
Okay, the restaurant have different kind of food, they do serve steamboat with min of 2 pax steamboat and also they do serve ala carte like ‘Nasi goreng cendawan’ my fav π€€. It doesn’t cost much, was around RM 40++ for 2pax and with Tomyam soup some extra RM 15. Total I ate was around RM66 (included drink-lime juice). This price was in June 2022 and might change over the months/years π
So, I just wanna chill alone that day, and ordered for 2pax steamboat. If you love spicy, I recommend the Tomyam soup, it’s damn nice if you mixed it with the ‘asam laksa’ sauce ππ₯°
What will you have, in the 2pax steamboat (June 2022): Prawn, Chicken fillet, homemade Fish ball, homemade seaweed ball, Japanese Tofu, Bee hoon, fresh egg, Golden mushroom, Chinese cabbage, Hong Kong Kailan, and Seafood Tofu.
Well, I’m seating next to the window, and the last table at the corner. A nice spot to have little privacy π₯°
Tadaaa!!!! It was a nice spot to have some privacy π₯°Before ‘they’ arrive….πAfter ‘they’ arrive…π
Okay, I went to the Melawati Mall branch, they served customer with cute robots π
The ‘waitress’ to serve my steamboat πThis is the fav sauce..it taste lil bit like ‘asam pedas’ or ‘asam laksa’ sauce…it mixed well with the Tomyam soup π€€π₯°I think its homemade fish ball, its different taste than the normal round fish ball. It taste ‘rich’ in fishesπ€€My fav too…Seafood Tofu πJapanese Tofu..The golden mushroom..where is the golden? πFresh eggs…i love the egg pouches..π€€Hong Kong Kailan…my fav too..it taste sweet..not like a normal vegie πThe homemade seaweed ball..this taste soo nyummy π€€π₯°πPrawn…quite big..but not one of my fav. I ate it the very last…π₯΄Normal chicken fillet..nothing special bout this..lolThe Chinese cabbage, I don’t really like the taste. It tastes bitter π
Then…after the nice selfdate, ….i went to cinema…alone…lol π§
I booked a horror movie…then…it end up…im alone in the cinema…hahaha…..π₯΄
Home Alone – NO … Cinema Alone – YES π
Okay, I have so much fun…dating with my own soul…a lot of things running thru my mind…decision has been made. Haha..cheers!!
Hello everyone!! Just a throwback for last weekeend holiday, we went to one of the 5 stars hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur.
To be honest with you, for those who love cultural, and especially for tourist, this is one of the best hotel in Kuala Lumpur for you. It’s more classical and traditional carving decoration for the building and it’s decoration as well. There are some of the times I can see that the staffs are wearing traditional ‘songket kurung moden’ and the guy wearing ‘Baju melayu’ some with ‘Tanjak’. It’s was the best for family gathering and to relax, but i should say not a hotel for business purposes π The service a bit slow and not so organize, not a hotel if you are in a hurry π
Songket Kurung Moden, Source: Google. Baju Melayu with Tanjak, Source: Google
Where to park? (If you have vehicles)
Well yea, for those who have vehicles, you may park your vehicle at the basement parking. There are B1 and B2 basement parking. I will recommend you to park at B2 basement, coz too many cars at the B1 basement.
So, there will be 2 elevators, one is to the hotel lobby, and the other one is to the apartment lobby. You will need to park nearby to elevators which for the hotel lobby. The good about the elevator is, you don’t need to touch the card when you want to go to your room π well, yes it’s good for safety reason to have designated card to your room, but if you go with your family, it’s kinda irritating. Haha. Yeah, I give a thumb up to the traditional way for the elevators π
Elevators….
Royale Chulan KL has 2 elevators, one is for the apartment, and another one is for hotel lobby. Use the one for hotel lobby, I managed to snap some photos for the elevator, lobby and the front counter. Check these out.. π
The elevator from basement to hotel rooms.
Registration to check-in hotel
If you bring your own vehicle, you will need to register the plate number at the counter. So, whenever you are going out, you will need to go to the counter first, for complimentary parking -multiple entries (each time need to claim complimentary parking at the counter).
I booked my room directly at their websites. You may use another platform too, but if you choose to booked directly to their website, make sure you fill in the booking room with your full name. There is no deposit at the time of my visit. I did booked for 1 studio apartment and 1 superior king, but they provided me with connected room with 1 suite room, and 1 twin room. Aaaa…its win-win situation..perhaps its something similar to upgrade room? π But it’s okay coz the visit is just for relaxing. So, you will be given mainly 2 cards, one is for the key and another card is to plug in the power.
The counter for check-in and check-outThe decoration is traditional and cultural, I saw they hang quite some of numbers for ‘Keris’. Wanna know what ‘Keris’ is? Here..read this πKeris’s framed and put on the wall..This is the spa booth. They have spa at the same level as the pool, Level 2. But I didn’t go check on it πSome decorations for the spa booth..Err…might be cheap for Tourist, but not for Local πThe lobby and restaurant in the glass side area..
The rooms….
Okay, once you reached to your room’s level, you will see a beautiful hallway to your room. I think so far this is the biggest hallway for hotel I’ve been in my whole life π
Spacious hallway from elevator to the room..
When you entered the room, you will see the dry kitchenette and big mirror..
Kitchenette and big mirror
The suite was kinda spacious, it has 2 seaters sofa and small round dining table. TV and console table. But I think the TV channel is kinda old, think it should be better if have netflix channel π
The small dining and living room..
The dining/living room and bedroom are separate by 1 small wooden sliding door.
The view from the wooden sliding door…
When you go further, then you can see the whole bedroom…as below…
The bedroom…it’s spacious for a hotel πSide table…it’s a very old and traditional for a hotel. The desk..
As I mentioned earlier, I got connected room and for the other room was a twin room.
The connecting rooms…This is the twin room. Some find it’s very fascinating, but I don’t feel the same way, coz my parents house was more ‘traditional’ and more ‘royale’ than this π
The bathroom…
The hotel bathroom is kinda spacious..but the concept kinda similar to Pullman hotel. The bathroom has partition to divide the shower, and bowl, and each of the rooms has bath tub π₯°
The bowlThe showerThe bath tubToiletries..
The pool….
The pool was located at level 2. It’s just nearby to our rooms π very convenient..
This is the entrance..it’s available from 7am until 8pmThere are 3 swimming pools, purposely for babies, kids and adults…it’s pretty awesome for the pools
The complimentary breakfast, indoor waterfall…and garden… π₯°
Just like a normal hotel, this hotel has a complimentary breakfast. The food is local food and served ‘Nasi Lemak’ with ‘sambal’, ‘Roti Canai’, noodles, croissant and bread. Drinks, they have mango/apple juice, detox lemon water and hot drinks – nescafe, ‘teh tarik’, tea and black coffee.
I think overall, the food is not so bad. My mom said, it was nice. But I like those in Seri Pacific hotel more π
The restaurant…My ‘teh tarik’ and tosted bread..i toasted it twice π‘Teh tarik” and muffin. The muffin looks so dull, but it’s actually taste nice and fluffy π i thought its hard..hahaOkay, thats me with my glasses..too lazy to stick my eyes with contact lens in the early morningm..so I let those eyes relax a bit…hahaha
Okay, just nearby the cafe/restaurant..there is a tropical waterfall and garden….and lot of big koi fishes in the pond..π
The indoor waterfall…inside the Royale Chulan Kuala LumpurCute koi fishesI think they were hungry…
Well overall, it’s not that bad…a spacious hotel, very traditional and rich of cultural, nice food, but I think it will need a lil bit of maintenance especially the room furnitures. It’s quite old and got some scratches on the furnitures. A lil bit of nice room parfum, will be good, coz most 5 stars hotel I went have a decent smell, like spa smell. Not bad for tourism, but not recommended for business trip as the services a bit slow π
Till then…to be continue….for the next hotel trip…
Hello friends!!! How are you today? Happy weekend!!! WoOooooHoooo!!! It’s finally weekend.
Okay guys, I used to have Dolce Gusto Piccolo XS on my workspace desk in office, however due to shifting workplace, I don’t have a place for my Piccolo anymore. π’ Staying with your parents, meaning your space is very limited to your room only. Living with maximalist, means “Sorry, no space for you!”. Hahaha..so, I have to keep all my Piccolo and ‘his’ babies in my small pantry (small wardrobe).
So, what I did, I kept all my coffee capsules in container to preserve the aroma (I hope so). Next month, I need to do an appropriate setup for my Piccolo in my room π
Hey everyone…how are you, mentally and physically? Are you all really okay?
For me, both mental and physical health are very important. There is no point if you have a lot of cash, but your inner health is not happy/sad. If your mental was tired with your chaotic life, then you need to stop and follow your own pace.
Well, recently something had happened. I snapped and do my own checking for my mental and physical health. I had noticed, recently I had not exercising and easily tired. Insomnia is one of the sign that I’m having a mental disturbed.
What you need to do if your mental is disturbed?
1. You need to find a backup plan, if your current plan didn’t work out.
It is very important to have some extra 2 or 3 backup plans on anything, so whenever things didn’t go right, at least you will have some other plans to do.
2. Find and create your own happiness.
Yes, this is very important. No one will make you happy. Your happiness is your own responsibility. You rule your own happiness. Do things that make you happy, as long as it didn’t against the law. Be yourself, be real and don’t be fake. Coz once you’d been noticed fake, it’s just…disgusted.
3. Let it go, everyone is not perfect.
Everyone has his/her own strength and has his/her own weakness. Nobody have right to pull down anyone, because himself/herself has their own weakness. Human is created by God such way, and to complete each other. I really don’t believe if someone told me, that they are perfect. Coz nobody does and only God is perfect in multiple ways.
4. Catch memories of the happiness and spread the positive vibes
It wasn’t easy to be happy on this earth, so catch some photos or videos of these memories if you have a chance. Your inner happiness will create a positive vibes around the society and spread the positivities.
5. Pray to God
Last, but not least is to pray to God. We are the planner, but on top of our plans, there is a Big Planner which is..God’s plan. Doesn’t matter what religion you are, pray to your God and asked from God. Those who don’t have faith in any God, I pray someday you will have some faith to God. For muslims, perform some extra prayers other than 5mandatory prayers, and recite Quran. Insya Allah, Allah will ease everything for us. Amin π€²
Hi everyone!! Today’s topic is a bit bizarre to discuss, but yet most of times happening and is an issue for minimalist out there, including me π
So, we all know how minimalist characters, we love simple things, and keep things that only really means to us. But hey, how bout if you got no choice to live with those who are maximalist? Well…well…well…you are not alone! I’m living with my parents and my mom is maximalist…π
I should say, it’s kinda depress to see a lot of unwanted stuffs everywhere in the kitchen, in the living room, in the garden, but yet you just can’t throw it out coz it’s not yours and its your mom’s stuff, plus you are staying in their house. You are not…alone…π π€ͺ
Well, you actually really can’t do much, but for me, I will take some my little space, in each of corner in the kitchen especially for my own stuff. My mom, not allow for me to have my whole 1 cupboard, but she just allow me put my things in 1 container at the places. You heard me right, its plural ‘places’. She gave me, one corner in the fridge, 1 corner in the spices, at the other corner for my dry ingredients like my takoyaki flour, bonito flakes and other dry stuff, and another corner for my sauces like honey mustard. To be honest with you, it gimme a lot of headache to find my stuff, so I keep some in my own cupboard, in my room. Like a small cupboard pantry π
My Small Cupboard Pantry for dry food packets π
This is one of the cupboard or some call wardrobe. But, I have 2 wardrobe, well..I’m living in a family whom all members are maximalist, except my dad and me. So yeah, I have 1 big wardrobe, and 1 small wardrobe. So the big one, as you can find in my other post, is solely only for my clothes, handbag, duvet cover and bedsheets, towel and scarf. And another 1 small cupboard, I keep the sort of unwanted stuff that need to sort, like cables, candles, essential oils that Im barely use, projector, gun glue and sort of stuff. So, I keep one rack for my dry food stuff, like coffee, sauces in packet, jelly packet…etc..
Tadaaa…one of the rack is for my dry food stuffFried Chicken flourKorean spicy sauce for fried chickenVietnam spring roll paperMy fav starbuck espresoand…Raw Jelly..
Haha…well, when you got no choice, built choices on your own π so, another thing I have is, a small minifridge under my desk π Yes, you heard it right..under my desk coz I got very limited space in my room. But soon, when my house completed, I will make it as my serum storage π
My Micro Fridge for some drinks and small treats π₯°
Its very tiny fridge, obviously not for meat or vegie π but for a small can or drinks, or some small treats.. should be okay π
Tadaaa….compact micro fridgeTiny fridge has mirror and light with touch sensor
Okay guys, thats all for today..oh yea..by the way, today is Eid-Adha, wishing all Muslims Happy Eid-Adha β€
Till then, to be continue. I will show you how to make Homemade Takoyaki at home tomorrow..Wee!!! I love takoyaki, I believe most people love it. See u tomorrow!!
Hello everyone, it’s been awhile that Im updating my blog. Well, well, well..its a part of my goal to have an optimum happiness including job task. I don’t want to work hard and no one appreciate your hardwork, to be in the wrong team. Despite all of that, I rather be alone and focusing on my own strength. I believe each of person has his/her own strength and weakness. What you need to do, is to focus on someone strength and make a good use of it, rather than focusing on someone weakness and pulling down their willpower. So, to be in a positive environment is most crucial for our own happiness. I hope one day, I can have an optimum happiness. It’s not a big dream, a dream that I feel satisfied to what I have for now. To feel greatful to my God (Allah SWT) for what I have.
Well guys, let’s live follow the flow. Sometimes, what you plan didn’t work, but believe it, with patience it will eventually worth it.
Hi everyone!! Hope you doing good. Today remarks 1 year since I left gym and exercises. It is just recently, I notice that I need to start pickup up back my dumbell. Yawww!!!π
Im afraid, if I reach 40 and then been dignosed with diabetes or hypertension. No way!!! Health is treasure! I want it back. πWell, when I’m an auditor before, I frequently having migrain and hypertension. So, I left the job coz I don’t feel its worth it coz impacting my health. Yes, Im a health conscious its just a matter of time to exercise and time to prepare food that I’m struggling with now.
Today, I started squeeze in some time, afterwork before the night shower..to pick up my fav dumbell, switch on the utube video and do 20 minutes (no jump, no lunges, no squad exercise-my body is just not ready yet for those, lets start something simple) π To be honest with you, it only last for 15 minutes. But its okay, lets have a 15 minutes consistency rather than nothing, guys!!! πππ
Well, after being ‘scam’ with the gym trainer , as a minimalist I think the best is to keep motivated and discipline. To start with, you can guy a pair of fav dumbell (as the weight u comfortable with), and yoga mat.Its not that expensive too, medicine was π my fav dumbell was 4lb (~1.8kg) each. I bought a pair 4lbx2dumbell= 8lb (~3.6kg) π₯°
Switch on utube channel, then there u go. Just slot some 1 hour time in your schedule for exercise. I think the best for me is between 6-7pm. I’ll be off at 6pm, then shower at 7pm.
Guys!! Let’s go on healthy way, being healthy is lifestyle, not sometimes but all the times. Let’s start a long healthy lifestyle and maintain our health. The medicine is very expensive nowadays, we shall take care of our health!! π
Hi everyone!! Good morning, hope you have a great weekdays. Weekend is just around the corner, yeppie!!
As a minimalist..or I shall say..towards to the minimalist of living…here are Friday routine. For me, Friday is always a special day, as I assume it as my pre-weekend day..hahaha!! π
I woke up today around 6.15a, and straight make my bed. Took a shower and do a prayer. Then, I opened the curtain to allow some fresh air in.
I will need some storage for my blankets..sigh
I switch on my fav soft music on my laptop and speaker swiched on, then I do my laundries. And then, later I make my breakfast “Keropok lekor goreng” and my americano ice..nyummy π. For those who don’t know what is “Keropok lekor goreng”, okay this is our tradisional food. It was made mixture of fishes, some flour and lil salt i guess. I bought online and it was my fav snack π₯°
When eastern meet western..Americano and “Keropok Lekor” π
Okay, before we start works, lets blogging…so today I gotta learn how to trade guys..I’ve working for a trading company, but never trade before. It wasn’t easy at all guys. But I try to learn using a demo account. Hahaha..it keep my heart beat faster…even with demo account.
Wanna know more bout the trading stuff…stay tune…coz I need to learn the basic stuff first..hahaha….to be continue…
HelloOooo!!! Hello!! HelloooOooooo everyone π How is your Monday, Everyone?!! Hope it’s gone..smooothly…another 4 days to goo…wooHoooOoo!!!
Okay, everyone is getting busy to get back to the normal lifestyle, same goes to going back to the office. I found it’s kinda disturbing, after 2 years plus we’ve been working from home, right? Some will be effective when working from office, the other will be effective when working from home. But hey, do we get any choices now? Nope. π
Okay, so I’ve been looking into extra expenses that I need to bare when going back to the office such as transporation, food, safety essential (mask, sanitizer), dress etc. This is how, I try to manage my daily expenses low, as low as I can π
Going back to the office, What should I spend on?
1. Transportation
I believe this is the most expenses that we need to spend, including both fuel and season car parking. But, if you have public transport option, go with public transport. Well, it’s individual choice. For me, I preferred public transport because save a lot money, and traveling time can spend to do something. It cost me at least RM 160 for parking, and fuel about RM 200 per month. While using public transport (LRT), it cost me RM 50 per month π
2. Lunch
Well, this is kinda expensive too. It cost about at least RM20 per day, that makes it RM 100 per week and RM 400 per month. If you can prepare the lunch, it is advisable to do so. But hey, my current job kinda flexi, so I be going to office for half day, and going back to home for another half of the day. I save my lunch by making my own lunch at home π
3. Clothes
Okay, as a minimalist, I don’t buy any new clothes to go office. I just recycle what I have by mix & match my clothes. Pretty happy with this new approach, I can now control buying clothes π
4. Safety essential
You can’t avoid this. I spend lil bit on face mask, if you like the washable mask, you can use it. But, I do still comfortable wearing the disposable mask. Might be later, to start use the washable one, so I can save from buying disposable mask. Sanitizer, I got store in my bag, and 1 in workplace drawer just in case I forgot to bring. βΊ
Okay guys, I think thats for now..try to reduce waste in future, I’m still trying my best…ππ
